Pleasure derived by someone from another person's misfortune. Researchers figure out why, in some cases, we experience schadenfreude, but we don't like to think about it too much. When someone suffers a mishap, a setback or a downfall, we sometimes find in another's misfortune – a combination of joy from misfortune of others, edited by Wilco W.
